MTP Kit is a complete abortion kit that is used for early abortion in women. This abortion kit consists of two medicines, namely Mifepristone and Misoprostol prescribed to women who are in their first trimester or no more than 9 weeks pregnant. It comes in a combi pack containing 1 tablet of Mifepristone 200 mg and 4 tablets of Misoprostol 200 mcg. It is a medicated abortion that requires oral administration of pills. These pills are given to you at the time of your visit to the clinic. It works by blocking the effects of Progesterone and increasing uterine contractions to cause an abortion. The process of abortion gets completed within 3-4 days. Follow up with your doctor after two weeks.
